SweetTalks...

when you see this title, probably you have "shrugged"(not too much) your shoulder feeling "sweet" yourself... SS! haha... ok.. (i think i am more ss now)... :S

Just now,i had a chat with someone...that person is quite a sweet talker. That person even told me "someone" told him that a sweet talker is a good student. *sweat... haha..!

Somehow, that reminds me about some of the things happened, due to some of us, "the-non-sweet-talkers" in some occasions, just accidentally had been a "bad person"! ala~~ ... haha... in my mind, probably those people who in their minds think we are "bad" just DONT ACCEPT THE FACT AND REALITY... dreaming too much... hmmmm....

ok... that's not the point.. aiks... haha~! erm... there was once a quite respectable person taught me this. ( trust me, it may sound very "OLD", it's very real in another hand ) That person "COMMANDED" me not to favor too much of sweet talks, esp. from guys... (WA!!!)sounds strict... then that person continued, "A guy who often talks "sweetly" to you makes you "FALL" for him. At the same time, he talks "sweetly" to another girl and there came a few more who also fall for him!"

you might not agree with me... it's ok... observe it for yourselves... the one whom i chatted with told me, not every sweet talkers will not tell the truth ... haha... that one, you have to base on trust though :P

in short, girls, just don't be too greedy for sweet talks. guys, sweet talk less if you don't want gals to misunderstand about, you know...! :S

don't get me wrong, sweet talk to your husband/wife is ok... no one cares! :D

p.s. talk too "sweet" could be a stumbling block for you. the famous director NEO is just a fine example. :)

take care friends!

Necessities, freedom... ( BERLIN )

Recently, i was so happpy that TVB has this travelling program installed. Guess what? It's introducing a series of tourist attractions as well as some historical facts about GERMANY!!!!! :) fyiifudonno, Germany is one of my dream place to travel at ( i will make it a reality ). hehehe..>! ok... let's come back to the topic.!

NECESSITIES... I guess all who is viewing this has got more than NEEDed now... you have even got what you WANT! what about the East Berliners? let's see...

It all started from this,The Berlin Wall.It existed from 1961-1989 and was built by the German Democratic Republic. What effects this wall had on the East Berliners? In fact the West Berliners too! There were fears, splitting of families, lost of jobs, and failure to even get what they have needed. One of the East Berliners being interviewed shared about someone who had needed a wintercoat and had saved just the amount for it. However, due to the production, when she rushed down to buy, not even one is available for her. :S Sometimes, necessities needed to be smuggled by the West Berliners to them. Maybe you will say, so mafan, better die! ahmeh! if you think so, you can better go die le... jkjk! but honestly, what makes me admire the East Berliners the most is, they had tried all their bests to escape from the East and to go the West. But what they get? All the time being shot by guns or capturing by the guards! Actually they knew this will happen to them, but why they bothered trying? It's all because they want FREEDOM!

hmmm... Sometimes, we should really feel ashamed of ourselves though. Keep complaining all the time tho we have all the body parts available, having all the cash needed to travel ( overseas ), to eat ( at restaurants that not everyone can afford ), to attend schools, colleges, and later universities, but still WE COMPLAIN! Probably, we should try going back to the past and switch our lifestyles with the 60's to 90's East Berliners, then only we know how to appreciate what we have now?

Hopefully, it's not too late by then....

Friends, if you have more than enough, use them meaningfully ! :) you know how...

God bless!

New born life!

I am expecting to see a newborn baby tomorrow!! and one more to come within this or next week. :) wee~~

Not sure about you,but I am truly happy to know about or to have come across about a new born life! Not to have bias, i am also happy for the babies of whose mom was pregnant before marriage. I will only feel worried for the baby about whether he will be brought up in a warm and healthy family or not.

I smiled when i saw someone's status in facebook asking a question,"How do u explain n teach a 12 year old boy wat is true love when he's so deeply into 'love'?" perhaps, nowadays, a 12-year-old boy knows more than us, when we were 12 years old. Please bear in mind, it was 5 years ago that i was 12. honestly, i didn't really know how my mom got pregnant and have me that time. However, now, those "kids" simply just do "anything" out of their curiosities.

more and more problems occur as life is getting more and more out of our expectations. Sometimes, it's really a "speechless" when we are trying to explain to a kid on what is "love"...

*scratching head

Anyways, really can't wait to visit the 'life' tomorrow! finally, i will be going to the hospital for good! have to keep the mom and the child in our prayers due to certain past experience :) Thanks :)

Neglecting the goods

For the past few weeks, it seems like bad news have been showering my thoughts. It's as if nothing good had ever happened for weeks. Today, again, 2 bad news!

One popo is being suspect she might not be able to live very long and another one was an uncle has "lao ren ci dai" ... aiks...

SEE! how can the normal, good things shine among all these bad, dark news?

Just not sure why, suddenly i was reminded that I've actually neglected the many good things that had occurred. Just that they have so happened to be in the midst of the sadnessez... :S

maybe many of you out there also are experiencing what i am going through now. The world might seem to you not so good. However, there's always a candle in between the "electricity breakdown" :)

Trust the Lord to be able to do mighty things. Be it a sad or happy experience! GIVE THANKS! :D

God bless ya...

Alcoholism

"Alcoholism is also known as alcohol dependence. It's a disabling addictive disorder characterized by the compulsive and uncontrolled abuse of alcohol, despite adverse effects upon the drinker's health and negative social consequences upon his or her life." ( wikipedia )

The above definition is kind of clear to all right?!

I've thought of writing this post after watching a top-ranking mandarin program in Phoeneix Channel--- A Date with Lu Yu. The invited guest to be interviewed was 张政。

Before being an alcoholic, he had a successful job and a warm family. What has made him become whom he was(no longer one now )? an alcoholic? was the lil' by lil' of alcohol given by his friends and dad since young. Typical Chinese in China thinks that a great drinker ( in fact, a drunkard ) will have a bright future!

As the story continues, that statement will be proved wrong!

Throughout the whole interview, the BIG MAN ( the guest ) was trying to hold back tears as he thought about his foolish past. To make the story short, he had lost "everything" in his life ( family and job )JUST for the sake of satisfying his "alcohol-itchy" stomach. Even after he managed to get rid of this "bad" habit, his family could no longer be the one he expects it to be because the hurts are really deep.

Definitely, he has now changed to be a better person. To him, alcohol is his WORST ENEMY. Whenever he sees people drink, he will grab the bottle and pour the beer/ wine out! You might ask," What if the person who drinks was just celebrating/ tasting the beer?" His reply was, that was how "failure" starts from. ( he said this according to his own experience )

At the closing of the interview, the host asked what would he like to say/ urge the alcoholics? He said the below statement:

"有一个好身体。对家庭有个责任。你喝的不是酒。你喝的是家人的泪, 家人的血。别再喝了!把酒戒掉吧!"
"Have a healthy body and be responsible to your family. What you are drinking is not beer/wine ( alcohol ). What you are drinking is your family's tears and blood! Stop drinking and get rid of it!" -translated

Suggestion: Why not try some mocktails than beer? fruit juice than wine? :)

the above contains is up to individual to agree or not ...

God bless you all! :)

something about the previous post...

in my last post, i had mentioned about the aunty i had visited... do keep her in your prayer because she is now having breast cancer, third stage!

see now? life is short... and what's next? where are you to be next?? you know and understand well. It's either to HEAVEN or to HELL!... why wait????

anyways, would like to use this post to urge you all to take good care of your body. Most importantly, i think should do more exercise since partaking FATS is really an accident sometimes :)

prevention is better than cure. ( i know it's hard to prevent. feeling that life is meaningless with the absence of FATS, but just take less will do you loads of goods )

Take care... next post will be about alcoholism. Stay tune.

treasure!

today is easter day! It's indeed a great and glorious day for the Christians. and this morning's sunrise service was a great success :) Praise the Lord for that!

i managed to drop by the twins' house and later to eastern plaza with Kristen... really hope to be able to meet once more before she leaves. Had a great time together! and crazy... aiks... times flies aye... went to church after that.

My parents picked me up from church and straightaway to Tawau Hospital to visit an aunty. (The incidents start here)I observed a MAK CIK ( "aunty" in Malay ) was quite uncomfortable. However, i felt the warmness when her son was just besides her holding her hands. She even managed to reached out her hand to touch her son's face. I could see her body all swollen. The aunty that we visited told me probably she can't live much longer. Later, the MAK CIK was being moved to another wad. As I went out of the hospital, the ambulance was on the road. The sound of emergency really alerts me on how MANY are striving for life every seconds in life. Every seconds to them really count.

I am really making myself think about why do they have to fight for their lives. Why are there two kind of people living on this earth the same time? There are people who always think of ending their lives NOW. On the other hand, there are people who are doing and trying all they could to just get an extra day of life.

So, friends, see the point now? think over it! i sort of got an answer about why now.

God bless you all! :)
